Terms of Service

This document is intended for use by participants of Equidae Simulated Game (herein referred to as "EQUIDAE") as a code of behavior within the game, and all players are expected to abide by these Terms at all times. In addition, users should note that Equidae reserves the right to modify or remove policies, users or affiliated websites as they deem necessary, without prior notification or justification.

All players must agree to abide by these Terms prior to participating in any game activities, including Forum usage.

In order to participate in game play, all users must submit a realistic username and a valid email address. Usernames may not contain numeric characters (0-9) or alphanumeric symbols. A valid email address is necessary to complete the joining process, and will be used to contact you about game activities, promotions and modifications. Please note that usernames may not be used to infringe upon third party rights or transmit racist or defamatory ideals.

Players are limited to one account only and are prohibited from using their account for fraudulent purposes. A user account may not be used to assume the identity of a third party, nor may it be used as a means to harass, threaten, demoralize or defame another member in any way. Accessing another user's account or infringing upon one's personal rights is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate ban.

Players acknowledge the possibility of website bugs, glitches and errors, and agree to report any instances of such to the administrative team. Users also agree to abstain from any actions that may exploit or compromise the game in any way, including transmission of viruses or destructive programs and applications and/or attempting to infringe upon any intellectual property or third party rights.

All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is acceptable to the general public at all times. The use of any words deemed unacceptable, such as coarse language, slurs or discriminator terms, is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate removal from the game.

These restrictions apply to all areas of Equidae and its affiliated services. Users may not use email addresses, personal messenger contacts or other information obtained in Equidae to transmit spam letters, chain mail or harassment notices.

The above stated terms become binding upon users when they register to participate in Equidae, or use any of the services affiliated with the game. Acceptance to future modification to these Terms is implied through a user's continued participation in the game.

When registering for the game, users must communicate initial acceptance of these Terms by checking the box, "I have read and accept the provisions of the Terms in their entirety". Users who fail to check this box will be denied access to the game and any affiliated services.
